我是什么时候开始用SETI@Home的，自己也不记得了。后来发生了很多很多的事。有些事使我淡忘了SETI@Home，有些事又把它拉了起来。应该说，龙哥的到来，是我SETI@Home旅程的新起点。
　　只有一个人的世界，不是世界。

　　想当年，要查SETIspy才知道是2004年6月6日，registed。试用开始。
　　回想那时，暑假，开着电脑算SETI。看着长长短短的红色矩形此起彼伏，感觉还是不错的，时不时出现的高斯波形引起了我莫大的兴趣。回想起来，那是一个unit要16个小时真是太痛苦了，平均两天多才有一个unit的完成。
　　尽管如此，看着完成得unit数上升速度的那个快，心里还是爽得不行，转眼就十多个unit了啊。
　　那时的我，一心只顾着，算吧，让它算吧……

　　又上学了，新的学期，认识了许许多多的人。
　　劳文、子凌、SBBoBo、斤欠子、董某、阿Bang、小贝……
　　龙哥。

□

　　没想到这个世界上居然还有人像我一样热衷于浪费电脑资源。
　　没想到这个世界上居然还有人像我一样热衷于丢Beyond的脸。
　　不过如果没有他，我也就不会想去试命令行版的SETI@Home，我也不会想去看其他的分布式计算，我也不会知道可以去查自己在全世界的排名，我也不会知道有一种叫做User Profile的东西，我也不会尝试 seticmd303.exe + setispy.exe 的组合。
　　没有了这些，我就不会有现在一个unit三个半钟头的快感，也不会有现在已完成22个unit的辉煌战绩，也不会看着每个unit的平均时间从16到15到14到13到12降得那个快。
　　这都是两三个星期内的事。

　　现在龙哥又去试其他的分布式计算了，GIMPS、SeventeenOrBurst、ClimatePrediction、Einstein@Home，祝他一路顺风。
